Why a Foundation?

The Geodis Foundation, under the aegis of the Fondation de France, acting alongside the state and associations, aims to contribute to the social and economic autonomy and success of handicapped persons.

In providing support to projects promoted by handicapped persons, Geodis is continuing the work of the Association du Prix Guy Crescent (APGC) which it has supported since its creation in 1999. The Group has introduced changes to the APGC designed to give it more resources as well as a powerful management tool to enable it prioritise the initiatives it takes.

By extending the objectives set by the association (it rewards persons that have overcome a handicap or major adversity to help others), the Geodis Foundation is committed to supporting projects that demonstrate a spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship by handicapped persons
