The initiatives

Perpetuate, innovate, collaborate

Inspired by the heritage of Guy Crescent (Chairman of Calberson from 1963 to 1985, a polio sufferer) and the initiatives taken by the association that carries his name, the Foundation perpetuates and consolidates the mission the association had already begun, providing additional resources and a strengthened structure.

The Geodis Foundation has set itself an innovative objective: assist projects initiated by those who are physically limited. The Foundation aims to promote a spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship among handicapped persons who are often prevented from acting by obstacles that have nothing to do with their handicap.

The Geodis Foundation, under the aegis of the Fondation de France, represents a key element in the overall strategy of Geodis. Geodis wishes to mobilise Group staff in the project through a “skills sponsorship” approach designed to optimise voluntary action. By bringing together the know-how and skills of staff and the ambitions lying behind the projects that it supports, the Geodis Foundation brings to play a wide range of talent designed to ensure the success of the initiatives it supports.
